Our History

The Kenya National Congress (KNC) was founded in 1991 by George Anyona during the early days of the return of Multiparty Democracy as a result of a split in FORD-Asili. Since its inception, KNC has consistently fielded candidates in general elections at Parliamentary and Local Authority levels.

Party Leadership

The KNC Party Leader is Hon. Manson Oyongo. Manson is a dedicated leader with a strong commitment to the people. He is the former South Mugirango Constituency member of parliament, having served from 2010 to 2017. Manson is known for his focus on youth empowerment. Manson’s leadership is guided by the philosophy of fostering unity and unlocking Kenya’s potential for a better and brighter future.
